Back to Who Do You Say Jesus Is?

What You Can With What You Have | Mark 6:30-45

When the world feels overwhelming and the needs around us seem too great, it is easy to feel powerless. But the feeding of the 5,000 is more than a miracle story. It is a lesson about who Jesus is and what He calls His followers to do. Jesus looked at a crowd of thousands, felt deep compassion, and then turned to His disciples and said, ‘You give them something to eat.’ He was not asking them to solve an impossible problem on their own. He was inviting them to bring what little they had and trust Him with the rest. The disciples carried five loaves and two fish, placed them in His hands, and watched Him multiply it beyond anything they could have managed alone. The same invitation stands for us today. Bring what you have, place it at His feet, and trust Jesus to do what only He can do.
