Back to Who Do You Say Jesus Is?

Come and See, Go and Tell

Familiarity can be one of the greatest barriers to truly knowing Jesus. The people of Nazareth had grown up with Him, yet that closeness caused them to dismiss Him entirely. The same pattern can quietly take hold in the lives of believers today. When faith begins to feel routine, it is tempting to chase after new and exciting spiritual ideas rather than returning to the simple, consistent habits that actually produce growth. Scripture, prayer, and daily devotion may seem unremarkable, but they are the foundation of a living faith. The call of the gospel is captured in two movements: come and see, and go and tell. Coming and seeing means choosing, again and again, to engage with who Jesus truly is. Going and telling means serving others first, building genuine relationships with people who do not yet know Him, and doing so with a heart of love rather than judgment.
