Back to Who Do You Say Jesus Is?

The Parable of the Sower | Who Do You Say Jesus Is? | Mark 4:1-20

Jesus told a parable about a farmer scattering seed across four types of soil, and each soil reveals a different way people respond to God’s Word. The path represents those who have already decided what God can and cannot do in their lives, closing off areas before He even gets a chance to speak. Rocky ground pictures those whose faith collapses under hardship, while thorny soil describes a life so crowded with worry and distraction that faith never produces anything. Good soil is simply the posture of humility, a willingness to keep returning to Jesus, keep asking, and keep choosing to trust even when it is hard. The goal is not a perfect faith but an open one. This week, take an honest look at your own soil and bring one specific area before God with open hands.
